Lip Enhancement
Lip Embroidery for to correct uneven and discoloured lips for fuller more youthful Lips
If your lips are dark, patchy, uneven, or lacking definition, our Lip Enhancement treatment restores them to a brighter, smoother, healthier appearance. By correcting pigmentation and refining lip borders, we create natural colour, improved symmetry, and a fuller-looking shape.
What is lip enhancement?
Lip Enhancement is a form of advanced lip embroidery designed especially for lips with deeper pigmentation or uneven tone. Using ultra-fine, medical-grade micro-needles, we gently implant natural pigments into the lips, creating a soft flush of colour while enhancing shape and symmetry.
Unlike traditional tattoos, this technique is semi-permanent, natural-looking, and tailored to your individual lip tone and undertone.
A key part of Lip Enhancement is undertone neutralisation, where we balance out natural darkness before layering your desired shade. This makes it especially effective for melanin-rich lips or lips with dullness or uneven colour.
It improves:
Blurred lip borders
Dark / dull lip tones
Pale, washed-out lips
Asymmetry
Loss of natural fullness
Lack of definition
Our signature method provides translucent, natural colour—never a harsh tattoo look.

The Lip Enhancement Process
First time appointments: 2.5 hours
Touch up appointments: 2 hours
1. Consultation and Design
We begin by analysing your natural lip tone, undertone, and symmetry. Your artist will discuss your goals and recommend suitable shades and techniques. This ensures your results look natural and perfectly suited to you.
2. Numbing and Preparation
A topical numbing cream is applied for maximum comfort. Our clients commonly report that the process is highly tolerable.
3. Neutralisation and Pigment Application
We first perform undertone neutralisation to counter darkness, followed by soft layering of your chosen pigment. Our technique uses gentle strokes and shading to achieve smooth, even colour with minimal trauma to the lips.
4. Aftercare and Recovery
After treatment, lips may appear slightly swollen, but this typically subsides within hours.
Our method is designed for minimal peeling and minimal downtime. You will receive a detailed aftercare kit to ensure optimal colour retention.
5. Touch-Up and Long-Term Results
A refinement session around the 3-month mark is recommended to perfect colour retention. With proper care, results can last for years, keeping your lips fresh, vibrant, and beautifully defined.
Lip enhancement is a lip embroidery procedure carefully tailored to correct the natural pigmentation of melanin-rich (dark) lips. We employ specialised techniques that delicately neutralise lip darkness while placing a premium on minimising any potential trauma and ensuring optimal lip health.
By employing a customised colour palette, we blend multiple pigments based on precise colour analysis. This blending technique results in a harmonious shade that effectively counteracts any dullness, unevenness and discolourations in the client's lip and creates an enhanced yet entirely natural look.
Lip Blush or Lip Enhancement?
Lip blush is a procedure that improves your lips shape & colour. Deepening the colour of your lips, creating a fuller, healthier look. The intensity of your lips can be customised to your preference.
However, lip enhancement is recommended if you have dark lips, unsymmetrical or dry lips. Different tools & pigments will be required according to your needs to provide a brighter and enhanced lip.
Healing
After our lip embroidery service, you might anticipate a slightly swollen sensation, although not everyone will experience this. At most, some customers might have mild swelling, which typically subsides within 2-3 hours. Thanks to our latest technique, we've minimised peeling, enabling you to resume your daily activities with ease – attend meetings or even go on dates!
Long Term Care
Typically after 3 months after the first procedure, you are advised to go back for a scheduled appointment to check the colour retention and touch-up if needed.
Overall, lip enhancement embroidery can last 4-5 years
-
Lip enhancement is ideal for individuals who:
Have uneven lip tones or discoloration.
Have darker lips and wish to achieve a lighter, more balanced tone.
Want to enhance or redefine their lip shape.
Have asymmetrical lip sizes and desire more balanced proportions.
Have had lip embroidery done elsewhere and are looking for correction or improvement.
-
The majority of clients don’t experience swelling after a lip enhancement procedure, as our lip artists apply anti-swelling cream and continuously use gauze to gently press the lips, ensuring the process is as comfortable as possible.
However, a small minority of clients may notice mild swelling after the session, which typically subsides within 2-3 hours.
A helpful tip is to make small movements with your lips, as this can help reduce swelling more quickly.
-
Avoid smoking while your lips are healing (at least 10 days). Refrain from kissing, rubbing, or applying friction to your newly treated lips during this time, as it may disrupt the healing process and increase the risk of infection.
-
If you have a history of cold sores or fever blisters caused by the herpes simplex virus, it is recommended to visit a pharmacy to obtain antiviral medication. Take the medication for at least 3 days before and after the procedure to prevent cold sores from recurring.
-
Our lip artist will apply numbing cream before the procedure and thoroughly test the treated area to ensure it is completely numb.
During the procedure, we will continuously check your comfort and apply additional numbing as needed to ensure a painless experience.
Just relax, lay back, and even take a nap!

No, we don’t recommend lip enhancement during pregnancy. Hormonal changes and increased blood volume can heighten sensitivity and may affect the body’s response to the procedure, potentially increasing risks.
As a precaution, it’s best to wait until after pregnancy. Always consult with a healthcare professional before undergoing any cosmetic procedures during pregnancy.
