5 Skincare Habits That Make Eyebrow Embroidery Heal Better

You’ve booked your brow embroidery. You’re excited. But here’s something we wish every client knew:

The better your skin, the better your results.

At The Brow & Beauty Boutique, we’ve seen hundreds of brows. And we can tell you—those who follow these skincare habits get better pigment hold, faster healing, and a much cleaner finish.

Here’s how to prep like a pro (and recover like one too).

1. Pause Harsh Products at Least 5 Days Before

That means:

  • No acids (AHAs, BHAs)

  • No retinol

  • No physical scrubs

These can thin and sensitise the skin, making it harder for pigment to settle and stay.

2. Moisturise Daily—But Use the Right Kind

Dry skin = patchy pigment.

In the week leading up to your appointment, keep your skin hydrated with a light, non-oily moisturiser. Avoid heavy creams that clog.

Bonus: hydrated skin = less flaking during healing.

3. Stay Away From Sun and Sweat

For the first 7–10 days after your session:

  • No direct sun exposure

  • No hot yoga, saunas, or long showers

  • No sweaty workouts

Sweat and UV rays can push pigment out and fade your brows before they’ve even set.

4. Keep It Clean—but Don’t Overwash

Use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser around your brows. Do not scrub, soak, or splash.

And never apply makeup, sunscreen, or skincare directly on the brow area while healing.

5. Book Skin-Supporting Treatments in Advance

Healthy skin heals better. Here are the best La Dermalogique facials to book before your embroidery:

Aim to do these at least 5 days before your appointment for best results.

💡 Your Artist Shapes the Brow—Your Skin Holds the Colour

We’ll give you the shape, symmetry, and softness you’re dreaming of. But if your skin isn’t ready to receive pigment, it’ll show in the results.

That’s why the most beautiful brows we’ve ever done always come from clients who took prep seriously.

✨ Great Brows Start with Great Skin

Don't leave your results to chance. Just a few skincare tweaks before and after can make a massive difference in how your brows heal—and how long they last.
